Nominate Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing Alumni for Awards
As alumni and friends of the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, you are invited to nominate FPB alumni as candidates for one of these prestigious Alumni Association Awards. Nominations are accepted on a rolling basis.
Frances Payne Bolton Legacy Award
The Frances Payne Bolton Legacy Award, given at a the discretion of the dean of FPB School of Nursing, honors individuals and organizations for their contributions to the school, the profession of nursing and the community at large in the spirit of Frances Payne Bolton; health care advocate, philanthropist, Congresswoman and namesake of the School of Nursing.
Distinguished Alumni Award
The highest honor given by the FPB Alumni Association to an alumna/us who has demonstrated continuous, outstanding, creative and exemplary contributions to the discipline of nursing or to healthcare or have made noteworthy contributions in their field.
Award for Excellence
Recognizes an alumna/us who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and achievement in nursing, and has made significant contributions in nursing or related areas of healthcare. Candidates must have established careers that show evidence of meritorious contributions to their discipline.
The Young Alumni Award for Excellence
Begun in 2014, The Young Alumni Award for Excellence recognizes an alumna/us who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and achievement in nursing and has made significant contributions in nursing or related areas of healthcare within ten years or less of their graduation from FPB and the accomplishments are rooted in their education from FPB School of nursing.
Awards will be presented during Homecoming + Reunion 2017
Criteria for Candidates
- Must be an alumna/us of the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing.
- Must have involvement in some phase of nursing or healthcare or noteworthy contributions in other fields of endeavor.
Requirements for Nomination
Please submit a letter of nomination for your candidate that includes the title of the award and describes how your candidate's career activities meet the specific criteria for that award. Also, enclose a copy of the candidate's curriculum vita or resumé, along with the Nomination Form (PDF). Nominators need not be alumni of the FPB School of Nursing.

All nomination materials must be sent and/or postmarked by June 1, 2017. There are three ways to submit the required material:
