Visiting Scholars

We welcome visiting scholars of all educational backgrounds for intensive study programs at FPB. Visiting scholars range from BSN students through post-PhD. Programs can be customized to your educational goals and may include a clinical focus or research experience with our faculty.

Because of the complexities of U.S. visa requirements, we prefer to start the process 3 to 6 months prior to the time you want to come to our school. We request that you provide us with the following information:

  • your name
  • email address
  • phone number
  • the objectives of your study program

This information allows us to match you with a faculty member whose expertise is similar to yours. Study programs range from several weeks to several years; fees vary accordingly. Please contact Samira Hussney, Director, for details.

Channel Program or Joint Supervision Program

This is a pre-doctoral program where PhD students from other countries would like to join FPB for one or two years as non-degree students. The student works under the supervision of one of the FPB faculty members and the advisor in their home country on data analysis and writing the dissertation proposal. Students wishing to apply for this program should fill out this application‌ (PDF).
